My bay leaf has what i believe is scale insects on the leaves and stems, there is also a sticky residue.
What is the best and most natural treatment?
    Thanks

    Firstly, welcome to GC Aiden.

I had it recently on my Clerodendrun ugandense and I wiped off the soft little blobs with water on cotton pads.. Then I took cotton pads and put on some water and a splash of hydrogen peroxide and wiped the stems and leaves down thoroughly. I moved it to a filtered shade position and is doing well now.

I found this article interesting. In my case it was possibly stress from constant heat in full sun.

      Thank you Victoria.
Yes, it could have been the sun as its been quite sunny and warm here recently and i never noticed it before that.
My bay might be a bit large to wipe every leaf individually, but i can always try.....
