Hi, I have a small lawn (2.5/10 meters) which is partially shaded. Odd thing is that the big balled patch is not the shaded bit. Was wondering what would be a good grass seed to use and where is a good pace to get it. The big shadow in middle is bamboo which I am going to cut down.

Welcome to GC Ben. :)You can actually buy seed specially produced for shaded areas. I don't think one particular brand is better than another but any local nursery will give you guidance as to what to buy.
