Can anyone recommend a pretty small tree which has a good shape and will give year round interest.? I already have a weeping salix so am looking for something else.

    Thanks

One that will go well with your weeping salix is Prunus cerasifera Nigra. Although deciduous, mine has nice mahogany bark which looks good in winter.

I think mine maybe a weeping salix - I'm not so keen on it in the summer, but it looks amazing during the winter with redish bark. How tall do they get?

I've got one of those too - it's still only a small tree at the moment and I don't think I will have fruit this year.
