I dont know how this could be implemented but it would be nice to have better control of where images are placed as at the moment you dont really have any control, other than moving the

    Code:
    [img] [/img]
tags around your post, I've seen on places like blogger which allow you to stretch and position the image like you would in Microsoft Word

Is this possible? there has to be some kind of vBulletin® addon?

I mean so you can physically see where the image will be once it's posted so you would move you picture by dragging it around your post and then shrink or enlarge it by dragging the corners...

    in other words wysiwyg

That's not possible on vB. If you want to resize it, use the instructions in this post. As for repositioning it, you can only do that by going to "Go Advanced" (beside the "Post Quick Reply" button which takes you to a WYSISYG editor. Here you will find three justification icons, just as in MS Word, with which you can set it on the left, centre or the right.

There will be many and varied BB codes available to be used at the vbulletin site, many modifications will also be there that can do many amazing things.

Positioning bb codes are generally limited to "table" tags as in html and is sometimes extended to <tr> and <td> tags too. If that sort of bb code was installed here you could, using that position your photos whereever you wanted within your post. Resizing however would require a whole new editor to back it up, unless its javascripted or some such.

BB codes are very easy to install.

    Steve...:)

And availble in profusion, Steve. Only trouble is, the admins on this forum aren't geeks and we struggled along with one byte at a time!

And the 'handles' on images here are merely to identify the frame of the image which can often be a lot bigger than the image. Like so ...
