    Hi link,

Twenty years I've been trying to get rid of the evil weed, but it still keeps coming back for more.
Roundup by the gallon over the years keeps it in check.
Doesn't help much when next door thinks it flowers beautifully as it creeps among his jungle. :(

If its field bindweed, you have my total sympathy. I like Paladin, have field bindweed (the worst of the bindweeds)coming in from next doors garden in my front garden,- even tried leaving it fallow for 18 months and nuking every leaf that showed.

After that time, I gave up, covered the lot with a membrane covered with bark, and planted through the membrane. So far that is working fine - no doubt it is still there but it ain't giving me a problem.

The larger bindweeds are less of a problem and can be kept under control - not eradicated.
