Black ends

    Hi guys I'm a complete novice when it comes to gardening but have recently purchased a Acer palmatum orange dream on line Since potting it it has developed black ends. Would appreciate any advice please

    Its die back at the ends of the branches, probably due to unripened wood and frost.

    Id cut it back to the last shoot on the branch just to tidy it up.
