    I saw on another thread that you can use blackcurrant leaves. What can we use them for please?

    If I make an infusion of some will I die a horrible death? I.e. is there anything I need to know before I just experiment?

    Also, can I use red and white currant leaves the same?

    Leaves are used to treat the trots, cold remedy and for wee wee infections :)

      Does that mean its safe to use just as a drink? Was thinking I might put them and lavender together and see what happens.

      Don't see why not, might be a bit pungent with Lavender though.

        Tried it. So far I'm still with us. Its not the strongest flavoured of the various infusions I've tried, but its quite refreshing and very subtly fragrant.

        More experimentation is needed to perfect the flavour I think. It will probably work well with Lemon Balm, or maybe mint.
