Evening all, I recently bought a currant bush, a Ben Serek, still to go in the ground, my plan was to get a Ben Connan thinking it was a better cropper? (should have read the label [IMG] ) can anyone tell me which has a heavier crop (more currants - more wine [IMG] ) thats assuming I get there before the one who picks for pies [IMG] , I will still be planting the Serek (just another bush for more wine maybe [IMG] )
    Cheers

Hi Boots. Not sure what variety mine is but just took cuttings and stuck them in the compost heap a few yrs ago and the crop was unbelievable. Very large blackcurrents nearly thge size of grapes.
