    Hello my gardening lovelies,

I bought 17 box hedge root balls (I think they were just bare roots?) early spring and to be honest they haven't grown but not as much as I thought/hoped they would.

Before I got them, I was watching Gardener's World and Monty said to water them well for the first year and so I have......but now two of them are looking decidedly odd and I don't know if I have been overwatering them or it is something more sinister?

I have looked on the RHS website for box blight and they don't seem as bad as the images on there, so I am hoping it's me being an idiot and taking Monty's advice literally :oopss:

Actually all of them have got little white tips now, which they didn't have when they arrived, so not sure if that is something to do with it as well

Thank you in advance for any advice or guidance, every day is a gardening learning day for me :spinning:

Hiya @Barders ,they just look a tad stressed to me but nothing to worry about...I blame the weather..having said that I blame the weather for most things.
I suggest popping to the chemist and getting some Epsom Salts and popping 2 tablespoons in to a watering can of water and giving them a 'shower'..(Pour over the plants)..it will help at this time of the year

Thank you so much lolimac, that's such a relief :phew: I thought I had killed them (although this is still possible ;))

I'm going shopping tomorrow, so will get some Epsom Salts and give them a shower, thank you again :love30:
