    Today, I have had an absolute blast: I've been moved to tears by the supportiveness of members; I have laughed like I haven't laughed in a long time; I've learned so much by reading older threads, current threads and I'm sure I will continue to do so. I've debated thoughts, bantered, got to understand people in ways I never thought.

    What a wonderful, fun, delightful, entertaining community!!

                    I've been on the internet for almost 19 years and I do have to say this is one of the most friendly, knowledgable, supportive, enjoyable and ... genuine(!) ... of places I have ever come across in all that time. (The only other one is an American site which is a subscription only site :heehee: )

                    It's a credit to whosoever "owns" it, the people who oversee/maintain it and, of course, the posters who stick within the ethos of the site.

                    So glad I found it ... even if it did take me 19 years :heehee:

                            You must remember Geocities then, and Netscape Navigator, and clicking on awful bold blue links and then going for a cuppa while you wait for the page to load up.

                            We can arrange for you to have found it sooner if you like. GC has a communal Time Travelling Helicopter that we sometimes use for making careful, delicate tweaks to the past.
