Well none I know of, we have a joke, but when that Pole or W. Indian arrives with a parcel we usually have a joke with him as well.
We dont take the world too seriously, a joke is a joke, you should hear some of the banter we throw at one another in most days, anyone looking from the sidelines would think we hated one another, but its just talk.
It passes the day, and I'd hate to work somewhere that it didn't happen.

Are you seriously suggesting that racism and nationalism is non-existent in this country?

Well racism is present in pretty much every country of the world, so no, it does exist, but not worth getting too excited about, its worst in most other counties than in the UK.

Nationalism, not sure what that actually means, but if its patriotic, I think we could do with a bit more of that.

            So, I'm obviously a patriotic nationalist.
Who writes this rubbish, who comes up with these tags, words are just words, they mean nothing in the real world.
In the real world you either get on with someone or you dont.

It’s a nice notion but in the real world, people have pre-conceptions, to varying degrees. Whether it’s people with ginger hair, the colour of their skin, their religion, their political allegiance, their football team, whatever.

Which kind of knocks the whole racist idea on the head, people do have preconceptions about all kinds of things about other people, as you say.

You cant stop people's minds, no amount of legislation or laws will change how someone thinks, oh you can brush it under the carpet, or you can have it out in the open, and talk about it.

But making laws against it, just makes things worse, it moves it to another level whereby people go out and shoot one another.

I have anonymised this, as it is a post written by someone else on another forum, but it is quite relevant to this discussion, particularly the immigration angle. Interestingly, this is written by someone from Germany, living near Berlin which concurs with my thoughts that it is not only here in the UK that we are somewhat pee'd off:

Germanys surplus will be used to plug the hole where Britains money was. France is skint,Italy is on the edge. The Austrians are tight and the rest of them havent got a pot to pee in.

Has anyone ever watched the film 'Dave'? It has Kevin Kline as a doppelganger for the sitting president who has a stroke and so he takes his place. It's a simple and obvious film but the doppelganger comes in and starts to do sensible things with the budget to sort out the economy instead of what governments seem to do which is a very weird thing at best and never ever seems to sort anything out. If only...

"After an amendment, tabled by Dominic Grieve, insisting that the Prime Minister returns to the House of Commons within three days if she loses the vote on her Brexit deals, her position is under increased threat"

What happens if TM loses and resigns so there's no PM 3 days after the vote?

I keep thinking of a handwritten note left on her desk "I'm afraid there is no Plan B" (there is a precedent for this).

I think whoever found it would stick it on social media amid hysterical laughter! Personally I'd quite enjoy it if this happened :)
