    ive just came across this site via fb,dated 1927 ariel views,i touched lucky for my home town in middleton but thats in manchester ...i could only find chatsworth and matlock etc from where im living now so not everyone will get views of their area...worth a try thou :blue thumb:

      Great site Joolz :dbgrtmb: I can see the old Wigan Grammar school I used to go to , it was rebuilt in the 1930s . Also there were fields behind the street I lived in !

            I cant any images of blackwell,newton or tibshelf,shows me a lot of repton views which ive never heard of :heehee:
            Matlock i did see but im not that clued up on,ive been a few times for day trips and to see the river illumintions:blue thumb: lovely place :wub2:

            Il have tell chitting kaz ive just spotted some Llaneli views and thats were she lives :)

            For many years I've checked out Aerofilms pics at the Local Studies section of my local library, many of which were extremely useful for planning submissions.

            Another useful source of old photographs of your house is postcards - I've got one showing a 1901 pic of our house and most of the local residents.
