About 3 weeks ago I planted some broad bean seeds (Aquadulce Claudia) into some toilet roll tubes, germinated them indoors then hardened them off outside. They are now permanently outside but still in the toilet roll tubes, I'll plant them out soon.

Howver, the leaf tips on some of them are turning black and curling up - any ideas as to the possible cause please?

Other than that issue they are growing well.

    Thanks

Probably a bit of frost damage? Has it been cold with you?

No frost that I'm aware of (unless there was a touch of ground frost a couple of nights ago when the air temp got down to about 2 degrees).

Down to 2 degrees is enough just to singe the leaf edges, they should recover.
