We recently planted some rhododendron and camelia plants in a new bed, all the plants are doing well except one which has brown spots on the leaves, we would be grateful of any advice.
I've attached some photos of the stricken plant.
    Thanks

A bit of a feed with some ericaceous plant food should do the trick me thinks.

Thanks Pip, we did dig in a fair few bags of ericaceous compost when started the bed, do you think it could do with some additional feed ?
    Thanks Again

That problem is Rhododendron Leaf Spot, it needs treating with a suitable fungicide, not feeding.:gnthb:

It is indeed leaf spot, after a little nosing around found this link, hope it helps :thmb:

I have a large rhodie in my back garden and any affected leaves that I notice tend to sort themselves out and the plant is unharmed, never had to use a pesticide on it in over 10 years. Good feed and general maintenance keeps my plant flowering year after year although now is the time of year when I get a few yellowing leaves.
