I have a gas meter plastic box that needs painting. What is a good one coat brush paint for plastic? I want to avoid a disaster where the paint starts to bubble or peel off after a couple of weeks.
Would smooth Hammerite do the job?

    TIA

I bought a spray can a while back, it said it was ok for plastic.
    It's acrylic, so water based.
    Tetrion easy spray.

I'd be inclined to sand the plastic, very lightly, with something like 240 grit paper first.

Not sure about hamerite it might melt the plastic depending on what kind it is.
