    Hello all.
I got a pack of 100 mixed cactus seeds and planted then in a long shallow dish as instructed with cacti soil which was microwaved. I then covered the tub with clingfilm and they have sat for a week now and i can see green already!
So in terms of watering do i just leave it for now?

You need to keep them just moist, I'd be inclined to remove the clingfilm.
They need to be shaded, out of any direct sunlight.

I always found that watering from the bottom was best for a while once germination has taken place.
Mixed seed can be difficult because cacti grow and germinate at very differing rates, so some will out pace the others.

But I very much doubt any will be big enough until next spring before they need pricking out.

Common sense is the best approach.
Give them conditions you feel comfortable in.

Cacti only survive adverse conditions, they dont flourish, and that is when adult.
