Last year I took some cutting from the plants in my son's garden. One of them was a type of Geranium I've never grown before. Here are the photos I took of it today when its first flowers opened. Can anyone give an id for this type of Geranium? The variety name is not important, but I would like to know what species it is.

I believe it is a Rose Geranium - Pelargonium graveolens

Oups, sorry for the Swedish confusion, Balc! It looks as though it's changed hands since I had dealings with them...

The foliage should be highly scented when rubbed if it's that

I tried rubbing some leaves this afternoon while they were still warm in the sun but couldn't identify any particular scent. Perhaps I'll ask my wife to have a sniff tomorrow afternoon. :)

I got my wife to smell the foliage this afternoon but she couldn't detect any scent either! So it's not just my nose! The only thing she did say was that it reminded her faintly of sawdust!!!

It may be Pelargonium graveolens. I've done a search on the Internet & the pictures I've seen certainly look like it is. :)
