I spotted this in a border and would like to know what it is with a view to getting one. I wondered if it is a type of hydrangea.

You may be better to wait.
Any in garden centres will now have been in flower for a while or flowers will be over.
Look out for fresh plants /fresh flowers early next spring.

I appreciate that. It has to be with a view to next year.
      Thanks again.

although the flowers have nearly finished, you may be able to get a bargain if you buy now for next year because you may find some in the reduced section.
