    Looks like dianthus, it should have a lovely scent. It always helps to.post photos showing the leaves as well plus an idea of scale.

        I think pinks, rather than carnation. Something to do with the raggedy edges to the petals...makes it seem it's been cut with 'pinking' shears. People always lump 'em all together as carnations. Of course, if it's c. caryophyllus, florist type, you can call it what you want

        The flowers are around .5m tall from the plant, i will get a photo of the leaves shortly, just trying to get my cheeky munchkin to sleep

        It looks like a Carnation as Pete suggested, perhaps a Spray Carnation because of multiple flowers on one stem.
