I have some Broccoli and Cabbage plants just starting to grow in pots in my greenhouse about a dozen of each.I think they will be ready to plant out in six to eight weeks.Would just like some opinion on this. I do have some sheets of fleece which could cover them if they need some protection.

They will need protection against pigeons, they often strip young plants, so yes, fleece is a good move

Stick some short canes in and put upturned yoghurt pots on them to hold it off the plants (Other desserts are available)

I normally use cloths pegs to attache the netting to the canes so it would be the same with fleece

    Good call :)

The yoghurt pots stop the ends of the canes wearing the fleece away when it gets jiggled in the wind :)
