    Hi,
About this time of year I find my cape fuchsia flowers are attacked by weevils and although still having the odd nice flower the overall look of the phygelius shrubs is made much worse by the feeding of weevils. I do not want to use an insecticide as I don't believe in using toxic chemicals in the garden but was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of how I can limit the effects of the weevils that have been particularly bad this year. I have just chopped off all the damaged new shoots I could in the hope that the new growth will be less effected but is there anything else I can do to stop the weevils causing so much damage?

    Happy gardening!
