Our cat was wished on us by the son of a neighbour. When she first arrived she decided to sleep on the top of our Welsh dresser in the kitchen (over 6ft high) and she still does it every night.

Glad it made you all smile, must have been a hard day at work hubby slept for half an hour like this before waking up spluttering cat hairs didn't even feel him climb on his face, lol, did keep checking he was breathing, lol.
He's a birman Spruce, he's called Symba but we call him Simbad because he's usually up to no good thats where I got my username from (no I'm not a sailor ) easy to remember.
Crikey Larkshall 6ft high thats one agile cat don't they have some strange habits, ours likes to sleep in bed with our daughter thinks he's human though and sleeps under the covers with his head on the pillow.

Great pic Simbad, I had a Seal Point Birman back in the 80's but I lost it early on in it's life. Others in our family have had Birmans since, they really are beauties.:dbgrtmb:

We have a couple that visit Spruce hubby's started feeding one of them, Symba's not impressed hisses and spits at it through the window, yes Symba's a seal point and he's an indoor cat doesn't bother him he scoots round like a mad thing, if we go in the garden sometimes he comes out, but any loud noise and he's straight back inside.
Thanks strongylodon, we nearly lost Symba as a kitten he was really ill, had a liver shunt, terrible hereditary condition apparently more common in birmans than any other breed, had to go to Manchester for a big operation, thank god for petplan, luckily he's a normal cat now, very affectionate :-)
