Is this spade type drill good for drilling bathroom tiles ? Or am I better using carbide tipped drills ?

    TIA

Good afternoon @HarryS I always use a masonry drill after I have put some masking tape 3 /4 small strips over the small pencil mark (criss cross) with the mark in the centre.starting slowly ,the tape stops the drill bit from slipping,I am no professional but it has always worked for me

PS you can also use a spade drill they both work

Thanks for the pointers Woo and John
I have always used masonry bits , but the kitchen fitter said use the spade bits . The little video shows the variants very well . Just ordered a Hilti bit set . They are ceramic tiles I know porcelain is a lot more difficult.

I have always found "spade" bits best for bathroom and kitchen porcelain tiles, clean cut and no cracking
