Bought this little electric Qualcast Rotovator from Homebase for about £75. It is more for turning over the topsoil and churning in leaf material etc rather than breaking up rock hard soil to a greater depth like a petrol model. Still, its doing a nice job on my dahlia patch which I am trying to get ready for the upcoming season.

Thanks Fern. Few months to go, but if all goes as planned, that will be a forest of dahlias out there :)
