Cherry tree

Hi

I am looking to get a cherry tree for my garden. I have heard that it will be fine in a tub which can be placed on our decking.

The pot we arre looking at is a 40cm x 40cm square pot.

Would this be ok?

Do you want a flowering cherry or a fruiting cherry as it will depend on the variety as you would need a minature variety of both the pot sounds too small try a half barrel the bigger the pot the less watering especialy sitting on decking all day

we are looking for a fruiting one. Would the size of the pot prohibit the size it grows or the fruit?
