Growing a number of Chilli plants - indoors.

2 faults could do with advice on .......... the plants came as a Chilli kit, including container.

After several months still no fruit .. loads of leaves.

In past week or sop loads of what I assume are mites of some form attacking the leaves .... they are certainly not red ... but are these red spider mites? - or whitefly, aphids perhaps? ... whatever they are, what is best treatment.

You can zoom in and see they are white mites.

I'd like to see more pics of the plants in general.
But basically I think you have an aphid problem, the white bits are just the skins left behind when they moult.
    Are the plants sticky?

Chillies take longer than sweet peppers to start forming fruit, how long is several months and how long have they been under attack?

I wiped all leave over with a soapy water solution .... removed huge quantities .... any treatment I can use to compete the job / prevent re-infestation

Did you look under the leaves?
      Are there signs of aphids?

I'm only guessing its not white fly, did they fly around when you were wiping the leaves.

I'd use a pesticide which states its ok to use with edible crops, and follow the instructions.

I didn't see any aphids ... but if you zoom in on the pic I loaded you can see clear white bugs .. they dis wipe off easy enough. Also attached another pic (now) which shows a damaged leaf, and a few of teh mites left
I do have vegetable safe bug killer - says it kills wide range of bugs & mites' but not specific on what ....
      It is pyrethrin based.

I still think the white bits are dead skins, the pest itself will be on the undersides of the leaves, mostly.
