    Hi All

I have some seed potatoes (earlies) in the garage that have sprouted about 1/2" would it be best to get them in now as I am looking for an early crop or would it be best to let them chit further.

I have bought some of the potatoe sacks from Marshalls and I plan to start the earlies off in the greenhouse until the weather warms up then move them outside.

I plan to leave the maincrop (King Edwards) until later to go in the allotment.

    thanks

    Dave

Yes - start them now in your greenhouse to give them a boost, no point waiting for longer chits, stick them in the sacks and let nature do its bit.

    Hi David
Yes, Im with John on planting pots now.
I have planted some this morning in bags and in the black dustbin.

Four chitted ready for the big black bin. Half filled with compost and just four planted in it this year. I planted five last year and I have a feeling it was over the top.
If it turns chilly I can always put the lid on the bin and/or hump it into the consevatory.
I have also planted three Mashall type bags with three tubers in each.
