Choisya Problem

    My Choisya had a bad winter most of the yellow leaves have gone brown,should I cut it back after flowering.

    Hi Arty, I have had a Choisya down at the bottom of my garden for nearly 20 years and occasionally when there's a bad Winter or a bad frost the leaves will go yellow and/or brown. I wouldn't worry too much, the leaves will either drop off or you can pull/nip them off as I do. Choisya will stand a good pruning if needed but I never had to do that, just pruning here and there to keep it in shape and bounds. Probably a good Spring feed for it would not go amiss.:biggrin:

    Hi Arty,my Choisya took a beating in the 2010 winter and i thought it was beyond 'repair'...with what i thought of as nothing to loose i cut it back quite severley....it has actually come on leaps and bounds and looks better than it has done for years:dbgrtmb:
