The good news is that we've now eaten all our 9 pence Morrisons trifles. The bad news is that we've still got some 9 pence 500g tubs of cream left and Mrs Scrungee is making more trifles this afternoon. Eating fruit cocktail trifle with every meal over the next few days will make a nice change from the raspberry trifles we've been eating since Xmas Eve.

We discovered where we ate our incredible Chinese meal for €30 for two that they do a luncheon menu of a glass of wine or beer, a main course (choice of 20 items) and a coffee or another drink for the grand sum of €5 ... we shall go investigate that in the new year!

@Sheal, : Been meaning to mention this for some time - couldn't find the relevant thread (given the Subject its no wonder!)

Sometimes when I highlight something the "Quote this" speech balloon does not appear - the text is highlighted, but no speech balloon.

If I think click within the highlighted text (that's important) then the Speech Balloon appears.

Dunno if that will help you, but perhaps worth keeping in mind in case you have the same problem that I do, from time-to-time.

I'm a bit of a simpleton at times and just do 'Reply' and delete any of the quote I'm not interested in replying only to the relevant piece I am interested in.

We have been back several times now and taken friends and it is incredible value and we will visit time and time again (already have a pencilled in luncheon for early April when friends come down from up North). Six of us also went to their Chinese New Year special luncheon which was also €30 per couple.

Thanks Kristen. The 'Quote Me' balloon appears every time but when I try to highlight a particular sentence everything to it's left, including my avatar and above, it highlights as well. I've tried highlighting from the middle of the sentence and moving left and right but it then highlights everything on the page. :doh:I think my computer may need updating software wise, I'll have to twist my son-in-law's arm to do it for me, but on the other hand quoting does tend to work when I try it during the quieter moments on GC.

It took two hits to get your post via 'reply' into this post. :gaah:

I find that occurs if I run the cursor slightly too far. So I unclick and do it again very carefully. :blue thumb:

That doesn't work for me Shiney, I've tried fine tuning the cursor position but it makes no difference.

Does it make any difference which end you start to copy from Sheal, the beginning or end of the section you want.?

No Marley, I've tried it every which way. It either works or it doesn't and mostly it doesn't, there's no trying to fool it into submission! :heehee:

Sheal, actually, you've hit the nail on the head! :heehee: When I'm out driving and another driver does something really stupid or dangerous I never say a word - but she does!!
