I am quite surprised as I have been asked to give a 'talk' next month at the above gardening club on a problem we have here relating to the Red Palm Weevil which is devastating the Canary Palms here. The problem only came to Portugal two years ago but has been around since the early 80s originating in SE Asia and then moving across the Med. Spain has mega problems with it. I did some research last year here for a tropical garden center on this problem. I will also talk about drought- and salt-tolerant trees, shrubs and plants as the members of this Club live on the coast cliffs.

So, today I have been doing some research and have started preparing my talk. Having done Toastmasters for two years, I'm familiar speaking to an 'audience' .... but please wish me luck! :yho:

    I'm really chuffed actually. :)

It sounds as if you are used to giving talks - I think being knowledgeable on the subject will help! :)
