Seems like sometimes an uploaded image, that is then Attached, uses .NET domain rather than .CO.UK and then doesn't display.

For example I can't see any of the three images in this post:
    http://gardenerscorner.co.uk/forum/threads/whats-looking-exotic-in-may-2013.51880/#post-684359

However, if I right click the image and "open in new tab" I see no image, but the address shown is .NET and if I change that to .CO.UK then the image displays OK.

It seems that the O/P sees the image (maybe other people too, but certainly not everyone as others have mentioned it too)

These are the image URLs from that post:

(none of those 3 above display for me)

and corresponding images using .CO.UK domain (which all display fine for me):

both .net and .co.uk pull from the same folder, so unsure why they aren't being shown.

as for those with .net were posted during the migration it seems

The top three open fine for me.
The bottom three have just "X"s, no pictures.

      That's it! Well spotted.

If I deliberately visit .NET and specifically Log In then when I come back here and refresh the page all images are showing.

Perhaps some folk have the .NET domain in their favourites are using that?

Are images only viewable when logged in then?

At .co.uk uploaded images are viewed as thumbnails when logged out, but images uploaded to .net are not viewable.

At .net images uploaded to .co.uk are also viewable as thumbnails when logged out, but again images uploaded to .net are not viewable.

Images uploaded to image hosting sites or linked to images on other websites are not affected (put that bit in just in case anybody wondered why some are still OK).
