    My 6 HENS have an auto door on their coop....and some mornings they do get a little impatient and have a few things to say....but just now there was a definate Cock a doodle doo....a loud one:huh:.....
    Think i've got one of those 'funny' hens.....i've never heard that in my garden before:scratch:

    Had to share that one....i'm quite shocked:rolleyespink:

      I can remember lying awake listening to "cock a doodle doo" at 3 am, it`s not funny after a few nights.

          It's looking like it could be either Poppy or Daisy...not sure yet but Poppy looks to be growing spurs.....:doh:i'll be up at the crack of dawn tomorrow to get to the bottom of this one:thumbsup:....

              I'm not a hundred percent sure Jenny but all my girls are a bit hit and miss at the moment as they are on a moult....

                Hi @joolz68 ...i haven't i was too busy scrutinizing them but i have noticed Poppys 'spurs' are much bigger than the other 'girls'....i'll try and get some pics:blue thumb:....it's odd because Poppy looks the least 'butch' out of all of them but she has been ...what i thought was bullying the others...maybe it wasn't 'bullying' after all....:whistle:

                    Hens can be terrible for swabbling but our sid wont interfere until its gets a bit serious,then he runs over to seperate them!
                    If you say their on a moult now,then watch to see if saddle feather come through(any change) on her,take photos a lot,i know its upsetting for you loli as she your hen you love her:cry3: but you could help other hen owners going through the same experience.
                    One of my sussex is showing signs of being cockrel,im gutted!i thought she would be around for at least a few yrs,now i have to get rid:sad: x
