Compulsive licking

    Hi for some reason rocco is licking alot but he is not doing it to him self.. What he is doing is licking around skirting boards. Floors. Under furniture. Around bottom of cupboards. Around door frames.. Lots of grunting.. Etc etc he just come in from his walk nothing picked up.. But why licking alot is unsure

      Hi, I've just noticed this thread, it's probably scent that's on the things that he licks. Does he still do it ?

        Hi thanks for your reply ..rocco still does it but not very often. He seems to lick around bottom of door frames etc where dust collects ..
        Unsure why though

          Good that he's not doing it so much, it's a obsessive behaviour that dogs can get into. We have 2 Goldies and when Barley has a drink he licks Berry's inside of his ear, which can cause problems for Berry, have to watch Barley all the time.
