    Greetings all,

In late November, I planted 3 apple trees in my garden, pruned them, fed them bonemeal, and awaited the spring.

Due to the unseasonably warm weather however, I have noticed over the past week that two of the trees have started budding.

I am worried about what will happen if we finally get some cold weather. Will the buds survive a February or March frost? If not, is there anything I can/should do?

Thank you in advance for your advice.

    Areiel

I assume they are small trees, as you have just planted them.
If there is a forecast of frost, wrap them in horticultural fleece, this will afford some protection.
This is what I would do. Good luck, Fonzie.
