Hi new to this forum but some advice would be fantastic.

I have a cordyline which I've had for 2 years and has until a few weeks ago thrived.

I have noticed on the tallest stem, pests such as woodlouse and other things appear to be living in it. This seems to have caused a distant yellowing of the leaves and no new leaves have grown.

Would be greatful if anyone could provide some advice on how to remove such thing and help to get growth restarted.

    Thanks Steve

As long as its making new leaves I wouldn't worry, the woodlice are probably living on dead material that has built up in the leaf axils.

    Is that one plant?

Pete, he said no new leaves, I'd say it's got crown rot, probably from early spring when we had a cold snap with wet weather. They're prone to do this now and again

Yeah didn't catch that bit, I tend to think it hates the pot, I've never seen one with a mass of leaves like that at the base, so maybe the big stem has died.

Thanks guys, the leaves at the bottom are 3 different stems that have sprouted from the main tall one, originally when I got it 2 years ago it only had the main stem with 1 other. All the others are thriving continually making new leaves which is why it has confused me why the main stem looks to be dying

Personally I dont think it has much of a future in a pot, they are ok for a couple of years but get totally potbound go yellow and dont really thrive.
