    Dear all,
I happen to have a solitary cosmos bipinnatus plant in my garden. Was wondering if it can produce viable seeds all by itself. Any ideas? Thanks for yr help! 0)

    Hi Dabbid

I can't say that I am entirely sure, but I think it can. Flowers try to avoid self pollination, by keeping the male and female parts physically seperate. But I think that most are capable of pollinating one flower from another on the same plant.
