We recently bought a new Cub Cadet tractor mower to replace our aging Hayter. So far so good. It cuts well and fast and seems to cope well with longish grass but have yet to use it on the wildflower part of the lawn. Anyone else use Cub Cadet mowers? No Briggs’s and Stratton engine on this one, unlike the Hayter, which is why, I’m sure it went on for so long. Fingers crossed that the new kid will perform so well after 20 years.

Yes, we have one, had it for maybe now 6 years. we love it. next week its going in for its first service. we have 3 acres of property, so yes lots of grass to cut. we also use it to chop the fallen leaves up and to pick those up in the baskets. we have lots of trees. very pleased with it so far. It is yellow, and I have yellow hear protections to match and yellow eye protection to match.
