She has a ring of Dolly Parton to her voice: love the song but the moment I heard the lyrics I thought: "A wall to encase you"; Oh, the irony :heehee:
Loved it roders, thank you for posting it because I doubt I would have heard it otherwise :blue thumb:

I listened to them all (thank you for posting!) but, my preference, at this time, remains with "Explosions in the Sky" - I could listen to that ad infinitum!

I like that @Freddy - touch of the Pink Floyd influence I think?

Funny you should say that. His previous band, ‘Porcupine Tree’, have had comparisons drawn between them and PF. Not sure I get the PF link in that song, but it’s interesting that you do

Ah, now you are talking! I like a bit of Del Amitri; one of the main test tracks we used back in the day was Roll To Me, fantastic for checking channel separation and especially useful for recording onto tape to then use to seek out speed or azimuth issues.

Never liked her - musically, or otherwise. Very much a Marmite character

He has such a unique voice - I may be biased, as I like Supertramp too, to be fair. Always struck me as a really nice bloke too.

A tune that I’ve always loved. Not the original (album) version, but performed by the band, I give you the mighty King Crimson...fantastic lyrics...

This may well be right up your street (or not) @longk :)
