I took a cutting from a tree about March time (not from my garden) to see if I could do it. And I planted it in a pot and then put a plastic drinks bottle which I cut in half on top of it. It's starting to grow new growth (leaves) is this a good sign or would this happen anyway? (Even if it wasn't going to grow roots).

    I hope it grows roots!
