OK daffs are lovely, everybody loves to see daffs but...... how do you get rid of them in a part of the garden where they aren't wanted? I dug down really deep and was sure I had pulled up the bulbs that were there before I put my viola pots in position. They are coming up again, pushing between my pots :gaah:, all that digging down was a waste of time. :wallbanging:

Pull off the leaves now, that will weaken them and they won't be able to re-generate for next year.

I dug up my canna rhizomes last November . They have been stored in a cold dark garage . On one of the rhizomes a daff bulb must have been attached . It has grown and flowered in the dark ! Tough little devils aren't they :dbgrtmb:

Is Roundup any good. Never tried it on bulbs though. I only use as a last resort.

No they've got to go one way or another, the leaves are hanging over my violas!!! :hate-shocked: and in my little garden violas rule!!! :paladin:

Could it be that easy?? I'll certainly try it.
