Smaller than the others, but ever so much more exotic, I came across these Dark Mulleins deep in Thetford Forest.

It is often said that coniferous forestry plantations are devoid of wild flowers. That is not always true. There were many foxgloves here and among them was this pure white one

I've got two white ones growing this year on my allotment.I don't know where they have blown in from
I am hoping to collect some seed later on,but I think I read somewhere that the seeds from white ones do not come true to type.

Is there anyone who can tell me if this is right?
    Thanks

    Kandy

I had a white foxglove amongst mine but i sowed two different sorts ..wild foxglove and the excelsior ones which are mixed so the white one probably came from that batch..
