20190825_113133.jpg Of my mail order dwarf rhododendrons one is pretty much dead and the other is on its way. If I cut them right down to the base and pot in new ericaceous mixed with bit fish blood bone might I save them?

    Hiya Cindy:)

Are they actually in ericaceous soil? Not a mixture but straight ericaceous? Forget the fertiliser for now...it doesn’t need that, in fact you might be making it worse:sad:

    Don’t cut anything either

If it’s in the right soil then leave it be for now, except to water now n then:)

To be accused of flogging a dead horse, if your garden soil is acid your rhododendron would grow better in that. Ahem!, it’s about the PH again

@Verdun Its in Ericaceous soil. It was sold as a pot variety from good old Gardeners Express. Ok will just leave it alone and keep my fingers crossed.
And hey Im chief horse flogger...especially the dead ones :heehee:.
