On Wednesday I had a lovely day with my son :luv:
We ended up at his house so I could meet his new little puppy called Roxy. She is ADORABLE- even though she was trying to chew my skirt to pieces. She eventually fell asleep across my feet bless her. :) I am now number one "dog sitter" :gnthb:

Thankyou everyone. Yes she will be quite big Marley, Rosa got it right-she is a pedigree Rotweiller.
I admit I wasn't too pleased when youngest son said what he wanted but we researched and if trained properly they make good family pets. He knew the breeder also and saw the mum when pregnant. Her tail hasn't been docked either. We are all used to dogs so I think she will be fine :luv:

I love her to bits already. :luv:

What a cute dog :). A cousin of ours had a rotty and it was the friendliest, scattiest dog you could meet.

She looks lovely, enjoy her while she is still small, it won't last long
I don't think its fair to label some breeds as dangerous etc, All dogs are born balanced, its us humans who mess them up, if they don't get the right owner.
A great book I have just finished How to raise the perfect dog through puppyhood and beyondby Cesar Millan was no end of help to me, I have a 6 and a half month old Newfoundland in training :gnthb:

Sorry, I missed the replies to this.
Thanks everyone, I agree some breeds get bad names but a lot of it is down to the training.
We bought my son two books, I hope he will read them!
I babysat Roxy and how she has grown. She is into EVERYTHING, she decided to wreck her bed and spread it all over the kitchen, she attacked my knitting :hehe: and was a general pain but I do love her already. I will post a pic of how much she has grow. She can now go out for walks so that should help calm her down.

Rosa I will definitely take you up on your offer if that's ok, it would be such a fantastic present for them. :gnthb:
