When looking for info on sowing some Isoplexis seeds I came across this post on John Grimshaws blog.

The hybrid in question is the last photo. It's well worth opening the photo in itself in a new tab and viewing full size to best appreciate it!

I have tried several times to look at that page, but I simply get a blank page when expanded.

I couldn't open it either. When I clicked on it the page came up, flashed the image on there for a fraction of a second and then went blank

The image you have linked to opens OK. Thanks:dbgrtmb:

Many thanks Longk - that picture is lovely.

Shiney - I suspect we may be using an out of date version of Internet Explorer. I had the same problem - I could see the site in the small screen that opened first, then if I expanded the screen or tried to scroll up or down the picture vanished.

I am wary of upgrading systems. I had one program that automatically upgraded the flash program, but the upgrade was incompatible with my operating system and screwed everything else up. It took a long time to find an old version of the flash - which I had to rename as the new version to prevent the my program replacing it again automatically. It can take ages to track down the cause of such problems.

This is a "Bitly" link to try

John Grimshaw's Garden Diary: By the tap

      Should work hopefully..........

Back to the cross, it would be nice if it were to become commercially available.

Graham - I find D.lanata to be perennial in most winters.

I am using IE7 so might expect to have a problem. I can't even open your seond link Longk. But I would have thought a 2011 version should work. Shiney - perhaps you need the 2013 version :D.

Gentlemen - it's a shame that the link will not open for you as it's an interesting blog to follow. He's an old fashioned plantsman who usually has something of interest to say.
If you're interested, try googling John Grimshaws Garden Diary By The Tap..........
