    Help again

I have a few different heathers in a couple of pots, they have just started to turn brown and look quite unhealthy.

Any ideas? should I pot them on or feed with some sort of suitable fertiliser, they are in ericacious (sp) compost.

    Thanks

    Any cats around?
We had the same problem and it turned out it was a cat using the pot as a toilet!

    LOL Fonzie

Yes I have three cats!! I'll have to keep a look out.

Do they die down anyway during the winter or not?

One thing, most heathers don`t like being fed so check the species and variety before feeding. David.

    Hello again Stingo
Just thought I would keep you in check my 2 poorly heathers are feeling much happier now and have started to grow new fresh parts, hope yours recover too.

I didn't aid them in anyway just spent more time in the garden. I didn't think it could be cats, because my ultrasonic cat scarer needs new batteries in it as next door has four cats and no garden to poop in so they could have been the problem all alone.
Water pistols at dawn now! [IMG] Helen.xxx.

    Thanks Helen

I'm hoping to get in the garden on Saturday and I think I will trim the brown bits off, there does seem to be a bit of green showing at the base so maybe a trim is what they need?!

    Glad yours are improving ;)
