Doc Files?

    Hello can anyone please give me some advice on how I can view Doc files ,thank you:)

    .doc files are associated with Microsoft Word Woo.

      You can download a tonne of different viewers for free if all you want to do is read it. You can also have a look at 'open office' or 'libre office' which are both open source (free) suites equivalent to MS Office should you want to edit etc

          Open Office can open Word documents for both viewing and editing.

          It can do Excel documents too:)

          And its completely free.

            I read online of just so many people having problems using Open Office with Windows 8 that I installed Libre Office which runs fine with W8. It may have changed, but it didn't seem worth the aggravation that others were suffering.
