:) Hiya Red, nice to see you again ...

We think it's our Chere Khan (Munchkin) who loves water and is a very 'kissy kissy' gal and she snuck out when we were not paying attention and went down to Zoomarine 20 minutes from us where there is a Dolphin rescue centre .... :heehee:

That is totally wonderful and heart-warming, Sis. Thanks for posting. xx

I found this text about it on the net, from YouTube -

"They may make for the ultimate odd-couple, but a housecat and a dolphin really seem to make a connection, and the home video is catching the world by the heartstrings.

Taken in 1988 at the "Theatre of the Sea" marine park in Islamorada, Florida, the video has just hit the internet, generating over a million hits worldwide in a little over a month.

A representative at the Theatre of the Sea says the dolphins, named Bubbles and Shiloh, and the cat, named Arthur, were very familiar with each other, and the dolphins would come to the surface to visit when Arthur the cat held his paw over the water.

The dolphins were held in an all-natural ocean-fed lagoon at the marine park, which still exists today. Sadly, the new stars of this internet video has passed on, but thanks to YouTube, their legacy is still bringing smiles to people the world over.

You can find out more information about the marine park at: SWIM WITH DOLPHINS, in the Florida Keys at THEATER of the SEA

In Florida, feeding or harassing wild dolphins is a crime punishable by substantial fines or even jail time for humans."

:) Thanks Sis, that is really interesting.

As it was 1988 I doubt seriously that Arthur is with us, but I wonder about Bubbles and Shiloh (there was a third). I don't know how long Dolphins live but I think quite a long time. Is this place near your home in Florida that you maybe can go have a lookie ... :WINK1:

Unfortunately, it is on Islamorada in the Florida Keys, about a 8 - 10 hour drive from us, Sis.

Hello and welcome from me as well, Penny.
