November last year I planted 4 cordon pears against a west-facing fence.
    Beurre Hardy
    Doyenne du Comice
    Concorde
    Williams

All but the comice have come into leaf. The comice seems to have a few tiny buds and did produce a small bunch of flowers a few weeks ago (the others didn't), but to me it's not looking good.
Are Comice late coming into leaf or am I being unnecessarily anxious?

    Thanks!

I emailed Orange Pippin who supplied the cordons. They agree it's not going to break dormancy. They have no replacements atm, so are sending a replacement at end of year.

Despite the failure of 1 of the cordons I would still highly recommend Orange Pippin. Maureen has been so helpful with selecting varieties that will pollinate each other. The other cordons look very healthy.

If you're going to grow along a fence with concrete posts I have been pleased with the Gripple system and the brackets. Available from Rivelin Glen
