I meant to buy climbing beans but in my newbie way i bought Purple Queen Dwarf french beans! They have been planted and merrily climbing up my windows. I have a large pot caned ready and waiting - should i forget the canes and pots and plant elsewhere or will they be ok in pots.

If in pots do i support with smaller canes .... can you tell this is my first year ??? ...

They should be fine in a pot- being dwarf they should only need shorter sticks. [ Mine grow 2-3' but it varies with variety]. Hope you enjoy them! [IMG]
