early fruit

    not only do we have strawberries ripe but today I picked about half a pound of red currants truly ripe and the rest are pink, blackcurrants are turning too and goosegogs gowing fast. plums growing cherries turning red, apples getting big, help Im going to be overrun agin

    Been picking blackcurrants & redcurrants for several days now. Jelly making time tomorrow.

    Looking at the bramble flowers and pics of them in bloom last years, it appears as if they are nearly two weeks earlier.

    Blimey,

    That is early, my gooseberries are big (oo, err Mrs:heehee:) but not ripe yet & the blackcurrants are only just going black.

    Picking Alpine Strawberries.

    Picked a few of our first strawberries today :yummy:, think our raspberries will still be a while even though they are swelling quickly :thumb:
